Optionally leverage DevCon.exe to simply the process by automatically disabling and re-enabling network interface card (NIC). Generate new MAC addresses randomly based on a customizable list of organizationally unique identifiers (OUI). Randomize MAC addresses for better security using public Wi-Fi. Useful to reconnect to free public Wi-Fi hotspots that impose a time limit by recognizing MAC addresses to prevent the same device from reconnecting. Automatically change MAC addresses on set intervals. 
Change MAC addresses on Windows automatically or manually. Hopefully it will work for you too! Disclaimer: I am not a techy person - just a frustrated anthropology student.For a quick start, refer to Examples section below for screenshots, refer to Screenshots section. Anyway, I just spent a few hours figuring this out. I think it's very counterintuitive for these keys to be F4, F8, F9, F10, Ctrl+F2, and Ctrl+Shift+K and really terrible that NVIVO doesn't allow us to customize the shortcuts.

Whenever you want to deactivate this so your keyboard goes back to normal, you just 'Exit' the script!ĥ. Double click the file and you should see a small green H appear in the taskbar on the right (near the time). There are plenty of keys that can be 'remapped' from their original use to their new use, but if you want to use my personal shortcuts, copy and paste the following into notepad:Ĥ. Open Notepad and save it as "Remap Nvivo Keys.ahk" on your Desktop. In case you're also annoyed that NVIVO 12 doesn't have a way of customizing shortcuts, I thought I'd post this to save you the time! In the end, these improved shortcuts could really speed up your transcription of audio files.Ģ.
